Catching up: Cream of Mushroom Soup

My first soup recipe with the new immersion blender, a couple weeks ago, Cream of Mushroom Soup:

 

Right on my stovetop: cream of mushroom soup

I made it just as the recipe outlines, although omitting the salt and maybe went a little heavier on the sherry.

Family feedback: I loved it. Camden loved it. Owen hated it and almost died. Genevieve didn't much care for it... Steve says "it was ok".

Gigi's 2 cents:

 I didn’t like the mushroom soup because I don’t like mushrooms and it also didn’t have much flavor and needed more seasoning.

Owen's 2 cents:

Disgusting. Enough said.
